Landscape and Forest Historian
As a longtime estate employee, it’s no exaggeration to say that Bill knows Biltmore’s grounds like the back of his hand. His thorough documentation and love for preservation make him an expert on all things Biltmore.
For Cathy and her team, Christmas is a year-round affair. She and the rest of the floral displays staff oversee the creation of Biltmore’s grand holiday décor. With more than 35 years of Christmas at Biltmore under her belt, Cathy has hundreds of great tips to share.
With a title like Chief Curator, Darren spends his days with one foot in the past focusing on Biltmore’s history. While some folks enjoy a corner office, all of Biltmore House’s 250 rooms are his workspace.
Holly works as part of the Biltmore For Your Home team. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys exploring Asheville’s natural beauty by hiking, camping, and fly-fishing.
When it comes to sharing stories about Biltmore, you'll find Jean happily immersed in any number of estate-related writing projects. On her own time, she enjoys her dogs, blogging, and connecting through social media.

Leslie transformed her passion for the past into a career as Biltmore’s Curator of Interpretation. Where ordinary folks see antiques, Leslie sees multiple layers of stories involving the era, community, and people.
Recipes and Wines Editor
Marissa works in Biltmore’s Public Relations Department promoting America’s largest home. In her off time, she enjoys discovering Asheville’s restaurant scene and expanding her wine knowledge.
Director of Horticulture
Parker and his team spend their days ensuring that Biltmore’s gardens are spectacular in every season. With hundreds of native and exotic plants to care for, they are the ultimate gardening experts.
Social Media Manager
Sharon works in Biltmore’s Public Relations Department managing the company’s social media presence. When she’s not limited to 140 characters, she enjoys blogging as a way to dive deeper into Biltmore’s history.
As one of Biltmore’s winemakers, Sharon spends her days in Biltmore’s vineyards and production lab creating great wines. Her hands-on technique for crafting vintages provides a unique perspective when it comes to pairing food and wine.
