For Reserve Employees


Reserve employees generally work anywhere between 40-999 hours (up to about 20 hours a week) throughout the year, usually during peak visitation times on the estate (e.g. spring, fall, Christmas, holiday weekends). Hours and schedules may vary based on the season and business needs. Reserve employees experience a reduction in hours during the winter months and other times when estate visitation is traditionally slower.

For Flexible ("Flex Staff") Employees


Flexible ("Flex Staff") employees work a more seasonal schedule, usually from February or March through December, with hours varying between 1000-1559 per year (approximately 20-30 hours per week on average). Hours and schedules may change based on the season and business needs. Many flex employees typically experience a reduction in hours during the winter and other times when visitation is generally slower.

For Year-Round/Full-Time Employees


Year-round/full-time employees are expected to work a minimum of 1560 hours (about 30 hours/week) throughout the year.
Year-round/full-time employees are eligible for all Biltmore benefits including:
