Barrel Tastings

$25 per person, plus tax

The magic of aging wines comes alive in this behind-the-scenes experience. Enhance your knowledge of the winemaking process with a guided tour of the Winery’s production facility, then put your tasting skills to the test by sampling wines still in the barrel, along with a selection of artisan cheeses. A most delicious way to discover how different barrels affect the final product!

 

Space is limited, reservations recommended, call 800-211-9803. All guests must have a ticket, and be 21 or older to attend. Guests meet in the Winery Gift Shop near the Stained Glass Windows at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled program time. Biltmore Annual Passholders enjoy a 10% discount.

Labor Day Celebration Dinner at Antler Hill Barn

$99 per Adult/Youth, $60.00 per child (Age 0-9) plus tax. Gratuities included. Overnight guests and Passholders only.

Join us for a fun and delicious dinner buffet to celebrate summer’s finale with a blue ribbon celebration inspired by Biltmore’s annual fall fair. Enjoy live music, games for all ages, Biltmore Wine, select beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. End the evening with a dramatic fireworks display on estate grounds.

The bounty of Biltmore’s fields, gardens, and vineyards is celebrated throughout the estate, from the magnificence of America’s largest home embraced by autumn hues across the Blue Ridge Mountains to glorious gardens, harvest menus, and winery activities by the barrelful.

Biltmore Estate Executive Chef Mark DeMarco hosts this reception-style North Carolina harvest dinner while you mingle with Chef Vivian Howard of the Chef & the Farmer restaurant. Your culinary event takes place in Cedric’s Garden, a private venue inspired by Biltmore’s century-old Walled Garden. Featuring distinctive stonework and garden accents, it is a delightful setting for this very special alfresco feast.

Deerpark's Chef Kirk Fiore hosts Guest Chef Vivian Howard from the hit PBS show A Chef’s Life for a magnificent five-course dinner featuring a special entrée created by Chef Vivian. Renowned for thoughtful, creative cooking that showcases our region’s native ingredients and traditions, Chef Vivian will captivate you with readings from her award-winning book, Deep Run Roots, and share her knowledge of the role Carolina seasons play in providing our beautifully abundant harvests.

Wine & Roses

Join us in the Rose Garden for a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception amidst the splendor of beautiful roses. Vanderbilt Wine Club members enjoy an exclusive opportunity to mingle with judges for the final round of the 2017 Biltmore International Rose Trials. During this special evening, Biltmore’s own wine and rose aficionados will share the science behind blending fine wines and breeding spectacular roses, and offer members the opportunity to try their hand at judging a rose and a wine!

Dine among the flowers with this delightful collaboration between Biltmore Estate Executive Chef Mark DeMarco and Flat Rock Playhouse.
