Riders enjoy an opportunity to further their horsemanship skills in an enclosed setting by completing a set of 8 obstacles along an obstacle course. Riders can bring multiple horses. Enjoy lunch and awards following the competition. Ribbons and ACTHA Bucks will be awarded for Open, Pleasure, Scout, and Junior Divisions 1st - 6th place.

Come explore our 8,000-acre Blue Ridge Mountain backyard and create memories to last a lifetime. Enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, exploring our gardens and grounds, or even bring a picnic and relax in a quiet spot. Add to your visit with additional outdoor activities like fishing, horseback riding, bike rentals, and more, available at our Outdoor Adventure Center.

Take part in our annual celebration and judging of Biltmore's International Rose Trials with a special package offer. The package starts with a reception in the Rose Garden on Friday evening, May 23, hosted by Biltmore's gardeners and the expert panel of rose judges. Then spend Saturday learning how we judge the roses and celebrating the winners with lunch and an awards ceremony.

This clinic will focus on Centered Riding basics that will help you help your horse to move up through the training scale. Biomechanics of the horse and rider will also be a topic of discussion. All disciplines welcome.

A competitive trail ride (CTR) is a competitive distance event over a measured distance and completed within a window of time. NATRC rides are not races. Our rides emphasize the skill of pacing your horse to maximize his longevity as a distance horse.

Pre-registration is required; please call 828-225-1454. No spectators allowed.

Our summer camps tailor each child’s experience to their age and skill level to give them the best experience possible. Our camps focus on English equitation, natural horsemanship skills, general horse care, nutrition, and tack.

Each camp is five days long and four hours per day. Available for ages 8 and up.

Cost: $400 (goes up to $450 after May 1) per camper.

Equestrian Center - WNC Hunter Schooling Circuit Show

A show circuit provided by equestrians, for equestrians, where safety and fun are top priority.

This clinic will focus on Centered Riding basics as detailed in the popular equitation books by Sally Swift. All disciplines welcome.

This endurance race and ultra marathon raises funds for Hope for Horses. Horses and runners share the trails, and camaraderie develops as well as good humored joking between riders and runners as each group encounters and encourages the other.
