Sunday, March 20 - Saturday, December 31 — Offered Thurs. - Sun. at 8:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. Activity lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
Overnight guests (complimentary) & Passholders ($10 per person) only.
Explore the East Side of the estate with an insider’s perspective on this complimentary guided hike. Hikes cover both paved and unpaved terrain and are suitable for beginner to intermediate hikers. Meet your hike leader at the entrance of the Outdoor Adventure Center.
- 8:00 a.m. Trail Blazer is a fast-paced hike on dirt terrain in wooded areas, avoiding the heat.
- 10:00 a.m. River Stroll is a relaxed-pace hike on partially paved roads to the Lagoon.
Reservations are required and may be taken up to one hour prior to the event. See the concierge at The Inn or the Village Hotel front desk to reserve. Passholders please contact the Reception & Ticketing Sales Center to reserve.

A Gardener’s Place Seminars - Winter
Included with estate admission.
Please join us in A Gardener’s Place Gift Shop, located beneath the Conservatory, for daily free demonstrations featuring gardening and floral topics.
1:00 p.m. - Wonderful Winter Wreaths
A beginner? No problem. Basic design tips will give you confidence. Whether you’re a traditionalist or more contemporary be inspired with new ideas and techniques. Personalize your wreath using natural elements, such as twigs, cones, and moss.
2:00 p.m. - Terrific Tabletop Topiaries
How about something different instead of the usual centerpiece? Learn different styles and techniques and use faux berries, greenery, natural materials and your imagination!

Join us in the Vanderbilt Room at The Inn to embrace the holiday spirit with this charming annual tradition of creating your own gingerbread house! The Inn's Pastry Chef will be on hand to assist you and decorations include a wide assortment of colorful candies. In addition to Santa making special visits to mingle with everyone, you can enjoy our delightful Holiday Tea menu and all the ambiance of our Christmas décor while you decorate your gingerbread creations.

New Year’s Eve Barn Party
$200 per person; ages 16 and older only.
Ring in the New Year with friends at Antler Hill Barn. Located at Antler Hill Village in close proximity to both The Inn and Village Hotel, this lively event is our most casual way to celebrate the end of 2016 and welcome 2017. Enjoy the DJ, light hors d’oeuvres, and dessert, plus beer and wine, and a sparkling wine toast at midnight. Attendees will receive festive party favors.
