Enjoy an intimate look at the family that created Biltmore with our exhibition, The Vanderbilts at Home and Abroad. This exhibition sheds light on the time the Vanderbilts spent as a family at Biltmore and beyond. Located in Antler Hill Village.

Equestrian Center - Ride Biltmore Program

$30 per person with estate admission, plus applicable tax.

Enjoy more than 80 miles of well-marked estate trails with your horse. Limited primitive camping and access to our rental paddocks are both available for additional fees.

Village Social Entertainment

Come to Village Social at Village Hotel for live music Thursday–Sunday evenings with a variety of talented, versatile musicians. Relax while enjoying a diverse mix of musical styles ranging from jazz to R&B, from blues to funky pop rock.


Thursdays & Sundays, 6:00–9:00 p.m. and Fridays & Saturdays, 6:00 –10:00 p.m. 

Explore the estate’s East Side with an insider’s perspective on this relaxed-paced, one-hour guided stroll on partially paved trails. Meet your River Stroll leader at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes; active wear is available at The Marble Lion retail shop within The Inn and at Antler Hill Outfitters in Antler Hill Village.

 

For overnight guests 10 and up only. Reservations required and may be taken one hour prior to hike; call 866-336-1245 or see concierge at The Inn or the Village Hotel front desk to reserve. Weather permitting: contact the Outdoor Adventure Center at 828-225-1425 prior to event.

The stylish fashions and luxurious travels of the Vanderbilts launch at Biltmore, host of the first large-scale exhibition of costumes from this iconic film. Winner of 11 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Costume Design, Titanic showcased the extensive wardrobes favored by transatlantic travelers like George and Edith Vanderbilt in the early 1900s. Learn more about the Vanderbilts’ travels as you marvel at the opulence of their attire.

Live Classical Music at Biltmore House

The Winter Garden and Breakfast Room of Biltmore House come alive with beautiful music evocative of springtime. Soloists including harpists, violinists, cellists, and guitarists perform 30-minute instrumental sets on weekdays and duos perform on weekends.

Soloists including harpists, violinists, cellists, and guitarists perform 30-minute instrumental sets. Depending on the weather, you may find our musicians in our grand glass conservatory, or outside amid the beauty of our spectacular gardens.
