Explore the East Side of the estate with an insider’s perspective on this complimentary guided hike. The River Stroll hike is a relaxed-pace hike on partially paved roads to the Lagoon. Meet your hike leader at the entrance of the Outdoor Adventure Center.

Orchid Talks in the Conservatory
Included with estate admission.
Enjoy a complimentary 45 minute talk about our beautiful orchid collection at peak bloom, with vibrant colors and delicate blossoms creating a new winter wonderland. Capacity is limited; reservations can be made during the day of your visit at any Guest Services location. Tour meets inside the center front doors of the Conservatory.

The artistry of great literary works, costume design, and movie making comes together in a new exhibition premiering in Biltmore House. More than 40 award-winning movie costumes will be on display throughout America’s largest home, accompanied by the original books in George Vanderbilt’s 22,000-volume library that inspired the films. Elaborate costumes from recent films including Sherlock Holmes, Finding Neverland, Anna Karenina, and Far from the Madding Crowd will bring many of Vanderbilt’s favorite stories to life showcased in the grand spaces of Biltmore House.

Vanderbilt Wine Club members will enjoy an exclusive evening of food and wine hosted by Winemakers Bernard Delille and Sharon Fenchak, accompanied by a fine dining experience prepared by Chef Eckman in the Private Dining Room at The Inn on Biltmore Estate.
