Passholder Shopping Day & Tree-Raising Event
November 4
Start your special day at the Banquet Hall Christmas Tree Raising at 10:00 a.m. Remember your passholder discount will be honored at estate shops and restaurants until 9:00 p.m. The Winery joins the celebration with a Sparkle all Season seminar and bottle signings. Be sure to get a sneak preview of the Front Lawn’s fabulous holiday illuminations beginning at 5:00 p.m. Stop by the Gate House for last minute gifts until 9:00 p.m.
Christmas at Biltmore
November 6–January 3
Recapture the wonder of the holidays. Enjoy Biltmore House decorated in warm, rich colors. Be inspired by dozens of hand-decorated Christmas trees, including a 35-foot Fraser fir trimmed for the season in the Banquet Hall. Learn More
Candlelight Christmas Evenings
November 6–January 2
Firelight and candlelight fill the house with a warm glow and accent delicate ornaments and priceless treasures. Get into the holiday spirit with choirs singing European carols, vintage ballroom dancers, and dramatic Christmas readings. The Front Lawn of Biltmore House sets the scene with a sparkling holiday illumination of evergreens bathed in thousands of twinkling lights.

Join our floral experts for tips on creating centerpieces to make your table sparkle with unique containers, silks, and fresh flowers (offered at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.). We'll also show how to put together beautiful Christmas wreaths using silks and naturals (offered at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.).

Have a special visit with Santa Claus at the River Bend Farm during Christmas at Biltmore. River Bend Farm also features farm life demonstrations, holiday-themed arts and crafts, and turn-of-the-century games.

Antler Hill Village Opening Spring 2010
Pardon our progress near the Winery as we work on the new guest experience, Antler Hill Village. Set to open in the spring of 2010, the new village, located adjacent to the Winery and River Bend Farm on our estate, will be open to guests as part of daily admission to Biltmore. This pedestrian-friendly village will expand current guest offerings at the estate and include a new exhibition space, village green with live entertainment, dining, shopping and a new outdoor adventure center. Each venue will share a different story about the estate's history and offer activities.
