River Float Trips

Enjoy a peaceful float down the gentle French Broad River as it winds through the estate. Sit back and relax, as one of our knowledgeable guides paddles you down on our guided raft trip, or get in a single or tandem kayak for a more private self-guided experience (trip departure dependent on weather, water level, and temperature).

Cost: $25.00 per person in addition to estate admission.
River Outing Checklist
- Wear weather-appropriate clothing: footwear is required.
- Sunscreen and bottled water are recommended.
- Children must be at least three years old and at least 35 lbs. to participate.
- A parent or guardian must accompany youth under 18 yrs old, and sign their liability release.
- Please arrive at the Outdoor Adventure Center 15 minutes prior to reservation time. Outdoor Adventure Center phone: 828-225-1425.
- Availability is dependent upon river and weather conditions.
- Tickets are non-refundable unless cancelled by the Outdoor Adventure Center.
