Private Guided Segway Tours

Enjoy a private guided Segway Tour. Guests with prior Segway experience may have the opportunity to ride the challenging Deerpark Trail to the south terrace of Biltmore House. Weather permitting.
Cost: $100 per person, in addition to estate admission.

Segway Rider's Checklist

  • Riders must weigh between 100lbs and 260lbs. Riders will be required to step on a scale to verify weight.
  • Riders must be 13 years old.
  • Flat-soled shoes are required. Shoes also must be closed toe with a strap on the back. No high-heeled shoes, sandals, or open toed shoes allowed.
  • Riders must be able to step up 8 inches to a platform unassisted and maintain balance.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany a minor 16 years or under.
  • Please arrive at the Outdoor Center 15 minutes prior to reservation time. Outdoor Center phone number 828-225-1425.
  • Everyone is encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses and cameras. There is a pouch on the front of the Segway to carry belongings. Riders may not wear backpacks to prevent uneven distribution of weight.
  • Tickets are non-refundable unless cancelled by the Outdoor Center.
  • Riders will be required to read and sign a statement of awareness and liability waiver.
