Explore farm life in the early 1900s with knowledgeable interpreters and exhibits in our historic Barn. Meet friendly animals in the Farmyard and stroll the Kitchen Garden. Guided tours are available.
Barn
Step into the everyday life of families who lived on the estate raising livestock, tending crops, and working at Biltmore Dairy in the 1890's. The Barn in Antler Hill Village—once the social and work center for these families—is alive again with blacksmiths, woodworkers, and other craft demonstrations; an old-fashioned Mercantile shop offering Appalachian crafts, dry good, and old-fashioned candy; a Smokehouse offering Carolina barbeque, quick sandwiches, and Southern favorites in addition cold drinks, snacks, and sweets.
Fun Kids Activities
Get in on the fun with turn-of-the-century games and crafts. Activities are listed at the Barn.
Farmyard
Drop by for a fun introduction to farm life. Our professional interpreters will introduce you to a variety of family-friendly animals. The Farmyard is open daily and located at the Farm in Antler Hill Village.
Kitchen Garden
Stroll through our Kitchen Garden during the growing season. This one-acre garden showcases fragrant herbs and vegetables used by our restaurants. Located at the Farm in Antler Hill Village, the garden is open daily.
