More to Do

Special Events

In September, Biltmore honors the tradition of collaboration between farmers, winemakers, and chefs by offering a series of special food and wine events to commemorate the harvest of our gardens and vineyards, with Taste of Biltmore. Then, as darkness falls, Biltmore turns up the volume with musical evenings. Live After Five is held on Fridays and Saturdays in Antler Hill Village & Winery.

Tours and Outdoor Activities

The great outdoors beckons more than ever in autumn—and with activities to suit a wide range of ages and interests at the Outdoor Adventure Center, there are many ways family and friends can spend time together without leaving Biltmore’s gates. Water lovers can kayak down the French Broad River, dip a paddle on a guided raft trip, or hone their skills with the estate’s Fly-fishing School. Wooded trails invite exploration by bike, Segway, horse, Land Rover, or on foot.
