Our fun-for-all-ages botanical model train displays invite you to experience our gardens and grounds in an engaging new way. Located in our Conservatory and at Antler Hill Village, the displays feature replicas of structures connected with Biltmore and its founder George Vanderbilt. Each beautifully executed piece was handcrafted from such natural elements as leaves, bark, and twigs. With trains traversing six separate lines at different eye levels along 800 feet of rails, this is a one-of-a-kind, must-see exhibition.

In the Conservatory near Biltmore House, railway structures include Biltmore House and the Cathedral of All Souls. G-scale model trains traverse 800 feet of track on six separate lines, each at different eye levels, weaving among lush, tropical plants.

Your visit continues in Antler Hill Village, where a second model train display celebrates George Vanderbilt’s travels abroad and includes such international landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and London Bridge.
