Guided Hike: Trail Blazers

Included with a stay at The Inn, Village Hotel, or Cottage

Explore the estate’s East Side with an insider’s perspective on this moderate- to fast-paced guided hike through wooded areas on dirt-packed trails. Meet your Trail Blazers hike leader at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes; active wear is available at The Marble Lion retail shop within The Inn and at Antler Hill Outfitters in Antler Hill Village. Hike lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours.

Join us for a unique outdoor yoga experience in a quiet setting with a focus on wellness, balance, and rejuvenation. No mat required, towels provided. Wear comfortable clothing. Grape Stomp at Antler Hill Village

Grown-ups and kids alike are invited to take part in this ancient maceration (softening of the grape skin) practice, long an important part of winemaking. All “grape stompers” will receive a special souvenir to commemorate this unique experience.

Imagine enjoying a glass of fine wine while admiring the magnificent mountain views seen only from the rooftop of Biltmore House. This behind-the-scenes tour allows you the opportunity to do just that. Your experience begins with an exploration of such un-restored areas of the house as the attic, continues with stunning vantage points offered from Biltmore House’s balconies and rooftops, and ends on our rooftop deck. There you will savor a selection of passed canapés, special Biltmore vintages, and breathtaking vistas.

Meet at the Hunt fountain next to the Biltmore House Front Door at 5:15 to begin your Guided Rooftop Tour.

As darkness falls across the Blue Ridge Mountains, Biltmore turns up the volume with Live After Five. Featuring energetic jazz and pop bands and casual dining options offering inspired takes on cookout favorites, it’s the perfect way to unwind after a fun-filled day on the estate.

For a limited time, in our Conservatory and at Antler Hill Village & Winery, enjoy beautifully executed botanical model train displays! These displays features a variety of Biltmore area structures, each handcrafted in meticulous detail from such all-natural elements as leaves, bark, and twigs. With 800 feet of rails and trains traversing six separate lines at different eye levels, this is a one-of-a-kind, fun-for-all-ages garden experience.

A Gardener’s Place Seminars: Bee-Friendly Flowering Herbs

Join Biltmore gardening experts in A Gardener’s Place Shop beneath the Conservatory for a complimentary demonstration, Bee-Friendly Flowering Herbs. Learn how to create a lovely haven for bees in your garden—add beauty to your environment while attracting and supporting these creatures that play such a vital role in our everyday life.

Memorial Day Celebration Dinner at Antler Hill Barn

Join us for a delicious dinner buffet that pays tribute to our veterans with a USO-themed evening featuring a Tuscan menu and fun activities for all ages. Enjoy live music with Little London Belles and Katie & the Moondrops as well as Biltmore wine, select beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. Your evening ends with a dramatic fireworks display on estate grounds.
