A Gardener’s Place Seminars: Illuminated Holiday Tablescapes

Join Biltmore gardening experts in A Gardener’s Place Shop beneath the Conservatory for a complimentary demonstration, Illuminated Holiday Tablescapes. Learn how to create a stunning holiday tabletop centerpiece by combining such natural elements as plants, pinecones, and twigs with festive holiday ornaments and lights.

Vineyard Harvest Celebration

$50 per person, plus tax

Picture a crisp autumn afternoon in our vineyard on the estate’s west side, an area rarely seen by guests. Surrounded by picturesque views, a live band plays as you raise a glass of award-winning Biltmore wine to toast the conclusion of yet another successful harvest. As you savor tastings of our handcrafted wines with a selection of light bites, you enjoy lawn games and a grape stomp. New to the celebration this year, Land Rover excursions offer further exploration of the west side as well as an abundance of fun photo opportunities.


Reservations are required; call 800-411-3812 option #3 to reserve. Biltmore Annual Passholders enjoy a 10% discount for themselves and one guest. Vanderbilt Wine Club members enjoy a 20% discount for themselves and one guest. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.

Candlelight, firelight, and live music bring holiday warmth to the extravagant holiday décor of Biltmore House, creating an evening to remember. Evening guests can also take advantage of Antler Hill Village & Winery to enjoy free wine tastings. Advance reservations are required for evening visits.

Christmas at Biltmore Daytime Celebration

Experience the holidays wreathed with the wonder of Biltmore. Our celebration presents Christmas on a grand scale with more than 55 trees decorated by our talented staff, accented with miles of ribbon, garlands, and lights. Festive menus in our restaurants and holiday wine tastings make for a memorable visit.

Showcased in two estate locations, this interactive exhibition connects you with the characters, fashions, and historic events depicted in the global hit television show and new feature film. At Amherst at Deerpark, multimedia presentations enhance the experience of exploring such sets as Mrs. Patmore’s kitchen and the gossip-fueled servants’ quarters; at The Biltmore Legacy in Antler Hill Village, a stunning display of more than 50 costumes from the series’ six-year run awaits you. Don’t miss this immersive must-see event!

Seating is family-style and The Inn's pastry chef will be on hand to assist you as you decorate your house with a wide selection of colorful candies. Experience the joy of holiday decorating at the Village Social during this family-friendly event! Don a chef hat and apron, then tap into your creativity to adorn assorted sugar cookies with an array of icings, candies, and other edible delights. The hotel’s pastry team joins you with expert tips and take-home techniques that guarantee your creations are a hit at your next holiday party or cookie exchange.

Christmas Ornament Decorating at The Inn

A unique holiday ornament you create yourself is a lovely reminder of your time spent at Biltmore! Join us for this workshop led by Asheville artist Andrea Kulish, learn how to decorate eggs in the Ukrainian Pysanky style, and take home a work of art with which to adorn your tree. Andrea’s handcrafted ornaments will be displayed during instruction and all supplies will be provided.
