Explore the estate’s East Side with an insider’s perspective on this relaxed-paced, one-hour guided stroll on partially paved trails. Meet your River Stroll leader at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Experience a turn-of-the-century celebration through vivid audio storytelling and displays of clothing recreated from Vanderbilt photos and portraits. A custom Exhibition Audio Guided Tour* immerses you in an era of leisurely days and glamorous nights—realistic 360° sound techniques and stories told by characters based on people who lived and worked at Biltmore in the early 1900s allow you to imagine you are there as guests and staff prepare for A Vanderbilt House Party.

Explore the estate’s East Side with an insider’s perspective on this moderate- to fast-paced guided hike through wooded areas on dirt-packed trails. Meet your Trail Blazers hike leader at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes; active wear is available at The Marble Lion retail shop within The Inn and at Antler Hill Outfitters in Antler Hill Village. Hike lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours.

Grape Stomp at Antler Hill Village

Grown-ups and kids alike are invited to take part in this ancient maceration (softening of the grape skin) practice, long an important part of winemaking. All “grape stompers” will receive a special souvenir to commemorate this unique experience.

Imagine enjoying a glass of fine wine while admiring the magnificent mountain views seen only from the rooftop of Biltmore House. This behind-the-scenes tour allows you the opportunity to do just that. Your experience begins with an exploration of such un-restored areas of the house as the attic, continues with stunning vantage points offered from Biltmore House’s balconies and rooftops, and ends on our rooftop deck. There you will savor a selection of passed canapés, special Biltmore vintages, and breathtaking vistas.

Meet at the Hunt fountain next to the Biltmore House Front Door at 5:15 to begin your Guided Rooftop Tour.

Easter Brunch at Deerpark Restaurant

Join us for a festive brunch featuring farm-to-table breakfast favorites, hand-carved meats, and chilled seafood served buffet-style at our charming Deerpark Restaurant.

Our Easter Egg Hunt is one of the Southeast’s largest, with hundreds of children ages 2–9 canvassing the Front Lawn of Biltmore House for sweet treats, enjoying magic shows, and having photos taken with the Easter Rabbit*. After the hunt, head to charming Antler Hill Village to enjoy a variety of additional activities including Giant Bubbles at the Village Green, Sheep Herding at the Farmyard, and more.
