Training & Development Manager
Biltmore Center for Professional Development
Anna is the Training & Development Manager for The Biltmore Company in Asheville, NC, and also serves as the Manager of Biltmore’s Center for Professional Development. Her work focuses on comprehensive training and development for Biltmore’s 2,300 employees, beginning with new hire orientation and continuing through advanced leadership education. This includes the development, facilitation, and evaluation of dozens of professional development offerings each year. In addition, Anna oversees the involvement of more than 20 guest instructors with Biltmore’s internal training program.
Anna has been an integral part of the growth and development of the Biltmore Center for Professional Development, and has worked with many BCPD clients from initial communication to program development to training delivery.Anna creates a dynamic and engaging training environment and is able to elicit fresh thinking, introspection, and solutions from her clients. Gracious hospitality and employee engagement are personal strengths of Anna’s, and these qualities foster an interactive and creative experience for training participants. Anna’s success with experiential learning and direct application has garnered consistent positive praise from both internal and external training clients alike.
Anna has a BA in Communication & Information Sciences from the University of Alabama, as well as an MA in Communication Studies. Anna holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute. Anna is a member of the American Society of Training & Development and The Society for Human Resource Management.
