Dining on the Estate
Exceptional Cuisine Served in an Extraordinary Setting
At Biltmore, dining is an experience within an experience, a way to further immerse yourself in the kind of hospitality for which the Vanderbilts were renowned. Our six estate restaurants provide a variety of fine and casual dining options, each of which feature estate-raised specialties. From light bites to gourmet meals, our chefs create masterful interpretations of the very best that our community’s local farms and growers have to offer.
From Our Farm to Our Kitchens to Your Table
A working farm has been part of Biltmore Estate since our beginning in 1895. That legacy continues today. Herbs, fresh salad greens, and berries come straight from our gardens and fields into our kitchens and onto your table. Our free-range, heirloom chickens provide fresh eggs and we source prime cuts of hormone-and antibiotic-free beef and lamb from estate-raised Angus cattle and White Dorper sheep. At the Winery, our winemakers craft award-winning wines from the finest grapes available, including those grown in our estate vineyard and vineyards across North Carolina and other regions.
In addition to provisions grown and raised on the estate, we source such other ingredients as mountain trout, farmstead cheese, and grass-fed beef and pork from local farmers and producers. Influenced by Western North Carolina’s rich agricultural heritage and the Vanderbilts’ legendary hospitality, our talented chefs create inspired menus that showcase our region’s freshest seasonal ingredients.
Special Dining Events
We invite you to join us for special culinary experiences that highlight the creativity and expertise of our chefs and winemakers. From holiday themed breakfasts, brunches, lunches, and dinners, to seasonally inspired, wine-centric feasts and social events, each dining experience is as unique as the estate restaurant that hosts it.
Dining on the estate requires estate admission, Biltmore Annual Pass, or overnight stay.
