Experience expertly prepared cuisine that emphasizes estate-raised and local ingredients, with world-class service inspired by the Vanderbilts. White linen tablecloths, fine china, and crystal add to the elegance, along with sweeping views of the estate. In addition to breakfast and dinner, we offer our own unique take on full service afternoon tea featuring a sumptuous assortment of fine cheeses, artfully prepared sweet and savory canapés, and Newby Teas.
Dinner showcases the season’s finest meats, seafood, and hand-crafted pastas served in a beautifully appointed location perfect for celebrations. Awarded Four Stars from Forbes Travel Guide in 2019, The Dining Room has also received Open Table Diner's Choice Awards in 2017 and 2019, and was named One of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America in 2016. A working farm has been part of Biltmore Estate since our beginning in 1895. That legacy continues today. Biltmore operates its farm and field-to-table program with estate-grown greens, berries, eggs, beef, and lamb, and leverages partnerships with farmers in Western North Carolina for locally-sourced trout, cheese, beef, and pork for our restaurants.
Collared shirts and slacks suggested for men; dresses, skirts, or dress pants for women.
