Basic Lagoon Segway Tour
This guided tour begins with thorough training conducted by our expert guides. Once all riders are comfortable with their Segways, the tour will begin down a paved path to the Lagoon. This tour covers 3.5 miles on a paved trail and will take approximately 1.5 hours.
Offered daily at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. Advance reservations are recommended.

Off-Road Deerpark Segway Tour
This guided tour consists of paved and off-road surfaces. After very thorough instruction and off-road training exercises, your expert guide will lead the way down a paved path to the Lagoon. From the Lagoon, the tour continues on hard-packed dirt and gravel surfaces. Before making your way back, you will take a break and enjoy a wonderful view of Biltmore House. This tour covers 5.5 miles on paved and off-road trails and will take approximately 2 hours.
Offered daily at 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Advance reservations are recommended.
Cost: $75 per person
Advanced West Side Segway Tour
After training, this tour crosses the French Broad River to the west side of the estate. Stopping along the way at the vineyard and historic Jones House (home to Biltmore Sporting Clays Club), guests will enjoy beautiful views and information about Biltmore’s past and current agricultural facilities. This tour covers approximately 7 miles on gravel and dirt roads and will take approximately 2.5 hours.

Private Segway Tours
Guests who have previously taken the Off-Road Segway Tour can have the opportunity for a more challenging Segway ride. This guided ride on the more technical Deerpark Trail takes you all the way to the South Terrace of Biltmore House.
Offered daily at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3 p.m. Call the Outdoor Adventure Center to reserve at 828-225-1425.

No time for an outdoor activity or a Behind-the-Scenes tour of Biltmore House the day of your visit? No problem! First, purchase a Biltmore admission ticket. On the day of your Biltmore visit, stop by any Guest Services station and reserve a next-day outdoor activity or tour for the following day which allows you to return for your tour or activity without paying a $25 next-day upgrade.
