Wine Club Frequently Asked Questions
A: Current interstate shipping laws prohibit us from shipping wine to certain states. We currently ship to all states except AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, KY, LA, MS, NJ, OK, RI, UT.

A: All Wine Clubs ship seasonally in March, June, September, and December.
A: Because state laws require an adult signature for delivery, we strongly recommend using a business address for your deliveries if you do not anticipate being present to receive them.
To avoid re-shipment charges, please inform Vanderbilt Wine Club via e-mail, phone at least seven days prior to shipment if you (or another adult) will be unavailable to receive your wine.
A: We will reach out to you via e-mail and ask how you would like to proceed. You’re welcome to pick up your shipment at the estate, have us ship to a different address, or hold your shipment for a later date.
A: If you choose to have your wine shipped directly to your door, you’ll enjoy free shipping on your first shipment, and $15 flat rate shipping on each subsequent shipment.
Wines begin shipping during the first week of the shipment month (March, June, September, December), and you’ll receive an e-mail notification when it is ready to ship.
A: If you opt for estate pickup, shipping costs are eliminated entirely.
You may pick up your wine at the Winery during the second week of the shipment month (March, June, September, December). You will receive an e-mail notification with pickup details (location, dates, times) prior to each seasonal shipment.
If you do not pick up your wine within the specified time frame, we will ship it to you at our regular $15 flat rate.
A: Each wine club consists of four seasonal shipments per year. Your credit card will be charged at the time of each shipment (four times a year) for the following:
- Three bottles of wine, hand-selected by our winemakers from your Club category
- Tax (where applicable)
- Shipping ($0 for first shipment, $15 flat rate for each subsequent shipment).
Membership / Personal Data FAQs
A: There is no fee for Vanderbilt Wine Club membership, which is for a minimum of two shipments.
A: Your Wine Club membership belongs to you exclusively and cannot be transferred to another party. You are welcome (and encouraged!) to share the benefits of membership with friends and family by bringing them as your guests for your complimentary wine tastings and tours as defined on our Overview / Benefits page.
A: You are welcome to change your preference at any time before your next shipment goes out. Please call us at 1-800-922-0091, or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A: Access to the Winery on Biltmore Estate is only available to guests who have purchased estate admission or a Biltmore Annual Pass, or who are enrolled in estate pickup. Please note that access to the estate is granted only during established pickup dates and times.
A: You can enjoy your Wine Club discount two ways: purchasing online or purchasing at the estate!
A: Visit us in the exclusive Wine Club members-only area and share your membership status with staff. Your Complimentary Premium Wine Tastings benefit allows you and up to three (non-member) guests to each sample three different Biltmore wines. In lieu of the Premium Wine Tasting, you also have the option to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine for yourself and up to three (non-member) guests. This benefit can be redeemed once per visit per group and can only be redeemed in the exclusive members-only area in the Winery.
A: To secure reservations and complimentary tickets for yourself and up to three (non-member) guests for your tour, please call 1-800-411-3812 and share your membership status with call staff.
A: By joining you commit to receiving a minimum of two wine club shipments. You may cancel your membership at any time after receiving these two shipments by calling 1-800-922-0091 or by sending an email to email@example.com.
