For the past 25 years, Ann has watched the Biltmore estate grow from a small, family-owned business to a major attraction of 1,800+ employees that welcomes one million visitors annually. With her background in education and a proven track record building interpersonal relationships, Ann rose through the ranks from restaurant server to Guest Relations Manager of the estate to Visitor Center Manager of the Biltmore Estate Wine Company to become a Vice President with The Biltmore Company. Ann’s commitment to Biltmore has been an integral part of a success story that continues today.
Before taking over the leadership of Biltmore’s Staffing & Professional Development areas, she led the launch of a direct-selling venture, Biltmore Inspirations. Ann’s leadership has helped create positive results in team building and internal/external customer service. She encourages personal and professional employee development, monitors employee morale, and focuses on improving guest satisfaction and increasing profit. Ann’s success as a financial architect has effected growth in revenue centers while controlling costs. Her contributions in Human Resources have resulted in an increase in her departmental staffing, enabling Human Resources to exponentially improve its service to the company.
On her own time, Ann enjoys camping and other outdoor activities with her family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.
