  • Has Biltmore implemented health and safety measures for Downton with regard to COVID-19?

    Yes. We have adapted the exhibition experience and enhanced estate health and safety protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines, state and local mandates, and industry best practices.

    Modifications to the exhibition experience include:

    • Social distancing
    • Limiting guest capacity of indoor spaces
    • Wearing of face coverings in indoor spaces (guests and employees)

    NOTE: Due to state-mandated Health & Safety protocols that limit capacity of Biltmore’s indoor spaces (including exhibition locations Amherst at Deerpark and The Biltmore Legacy in Antler Hill Village) and require social distancing, please:

  • Am I required to wear a face covering?

    Face coverings are required for guests over 2 years of age and employees in public indoor spaces, and required in outside areas where 6 foot distance cannot be maintained.

    Please bring your own face covering to wear during your visit. A limited supply of face coverings is available on the estate.

  • Do I need a reservation to visit the exhibition?

    A reservation is NOT required for the exhibition.

    NOTE: Due to state-mandated Health & Safety protocols that limit capacity of Biltmore’s indoor spaces (including exhibition locations Amherst at Deerpark and The Biltmore Legacy in Antler Hill Village) and require social distancing, please:

    • Purchase tickets in advance of your Downton visit and plan to arrive early.

  • Is there an additional ticket purchase required for Biltmore Annual Passholders?

    Yes. Biltmore Annual Passholders may purchase daytime admission to Downton Abbey: The Exhibition for $20. Youth (ages 10-16) tickets are $10, and kids 9 and under are admitted free with ticketed Passholders.
