This bright, airy restaurant—once the estate’s horse stable, the stalls of which were converted to hold cozy booths—offers a unique historic setting in which to share a meal before or after your Biltmore House visit.
Lunch features a casual menu of classic burgers, roasted chicken, southern barbeque, creative salads, and house-made charcuterie.
Stable Café is an OpenTable Diner’s Choice Award-winning restaurant.
To dine on the estate, guest must have a daytime ticket, a Biltmore Annual Pass, or a stay at one of the estate’s splendid overnight properties.

Executive Chef Shellbie King
Chef Shellbie’s distinguished 10-year culinary career includes six years with Biltmore, where she began as a culinary extern at Deerpark/Lioncrest. She earned her associate’s degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and places equal focus on the creation of flavorful new takes on traditional dishes and the establishment of a harmonious team environment.
