Transportation

  • Do your lodging accommodations include transportation around the estate?

At this time, transportation is not included with a stay at the Cottages on Biltmore Estate. To enjoy and explore all that Biltmore has to offer, we recommend guests a) arrive in their own vehicle, or b) make reservations in advance for a rental vehicle.

  • How do I get around the estate if I don’t have a car?

Because we do not offer estate-wide transportation, you will need to utilize your personal vehicle, a rental vehicle, or our Biltmore Express shuttle service throughout your visit.

Biltmore Express shuttle service is $15 per person per day (kids 9 and younger are free) and:
    • provides transportation between Biltmore’s Reception and Ticketing Sales Center, Central Guest Services, Biltmore House, Antler Hill Village, and Amherst at Deerpark®
    • may be purchased in person on day of arrival at any Guest Services location

Note: wheeled luggage is NOT permitted in the Biltmore House & Gardens area. Please review our bag policy.

  • Do you offer transportation between Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) and Biltmore?

At this time, we do not provide transportation from the airport to the estate. Because Biltmore is best explored by car, we recommend reserving a rental vehicle in advance of your visit from any of the providers at the airport.

  • What if I arrive by Taxi, Uber, or Lyft?

If you plan to arrive by an external transportation service such as taxi, Uber, or Lyft, you will be dropped off at Central Guest Services or Antler Hill Village.

Because we do not offer estate-wide transportation, you will need to continue to utilize external transportation or purchase a ticket for Biltmore Express shuttle service upon arrival to Central Guest Services to get around the estate for the duration of your visit.

Biltmore Express shuttle service is $15 per person per day (kids 9 and younger are free) and:
