Christmas Biltmore House day visit

Experience America’s Largest Home® during our beloved holiday tradition, Christmas at Biltmore™! Inspired by the joy and wonder of yuletide season, the house and entire estate are at their most magical: beautifully bedecked for the holidays. 

Your self-guided house visit with audio guide spans three floors and the basement of the luxurious family home of George and Edith Vanderbilt. Explore the stories of the Vanderbilt family, their guests, and employees through displays of vintage clothing, accessories, art, furniture, and more. 

The 60-minute audio-tour experience captures the feeling of being guided through Biltmore’s grand rooms by our curators and hosts. You’ll learn about the Vanderbilts, their guests, and their staff, in addition to the surrounding architecture, design, and artwork. Keep the kids entertained with their very own 50-minute Kids’ Audio Guide, narrated by Cedric, the Vanderbilts’ beloved Saint Bernard! 

Approximate run time of audio guide is 60 minutes. Our Biltmore House Audio Guide is available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin Chinese languages; Audio Description Format (in English only) for guests with low vision or blindness; Neckloop Telecoil Coupler and Printed Transcript Format (currently in English only) for guests who are deaf or have partial hearing loss; and American Sign Language Format (viewable via tablet).
