Reservations

• When I check for availability online, I get the message that nothing’s available. What can I do?
  • We may be sold out on one or more of the dates you’ve requested. Please change dates and try again.
  • The options you requested may include a room type or package that is not available. Please change your request and try again.
  • You may have too many people on your reservation request. There is a limit of four people per guest room or suite. At least one person on your reservation request must be an adult. For connecting or adjoining rooms, please contact our Reservations Department toll-free at 866-336-1245 (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. ET and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.). For bookings of six or more rooms, please contact our Group Sales Department at 800-211-9805.
  • There may be stay requirements for specific dates. Please change the dates and try again.
• Do the prices shown online include taxes?

  No. The rate displayed is pre-tax unless otherwise noted. The final amount will be displayed before checkout and includes taxes.

• Does Village Hotel offer overnight stay discounts?

  Yes! View our Special Offers for details on discounted admission for AARP, AAA, U.S. Military members, and more.

• To make my reservation online, you are asking for my email address. Is that required and what is your privacy policy?

  If you wish to make a reservation online, you are required to provide us with a valid email address. Please read our privacy policy. If you prefer not to release your email address, you are welcome to call our Reservations Department toll-free at 866-336-1245 (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.).

• If I request a particular feature, am I guaranteed to receive it?

  We will honor your request for special features to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee them.

• When are check-in and check-out?

  Check-in begins at 4 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m.

Rooms

• Do you have smoking rooms or pet-friendly rooms?

  Pets are not permitted at any of the lodging accommodations on the estate. ADA-regulated service animals are allowed.

  All guest rooms and internal public areas at our lodging facilities are non-smoking. There are exterior areas designated for smokers.

• Do you offer additional amenities to make our stay more special?

  Yes! We have a variety of ways to enhance your stay, including fresh floral arrangements, Biltmore wines, delicious food and wine baskets, chocolates, and more!

Transportation

• Do your lodging accommodations include transportation around the estate?

  Biltmore does not offer complimentary estate-wide shuttle transportation.

  Estate roads do not have sidewalks, and walking between different areas of the estate is not recommended due to travel distances. To enjoy and explore all Biltmore has to offer, we strongly recommend guests arrive in their own vehicle.

  Biltmore offers complimentary ADA, Garden, and Lodging Shuttle service from the following locations:

  • Round-trip ADA Shuttle service to Biltmore House from the Park & Ride Building (with accessible parking in Lot E)
  • Round-trip Garden Shuttle service from Biltmore House to the Conservatory in the Walled Garden from April through December Round-trip guest
  • Round-trip Lodging Shuttle service* to Biltmore House®, Antler Hill Village & Winery, and Amherst at Deerpark® from The Inn and Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate®

  Biltmore Connect shuttle service* is $15 per person per day (kids 9 and younger are free) and:

  • Provides transportation between Biltmore’s Reception & Ticketing Sales Center, Biltmore House, Antler Hill Village, and Amherst at Deerpark®
  • May be purchased in advance by calling 800-411-3812 or in-person on day of arrival at any Guest Services location
  • Is not available for Groups

  ALL Biltmore Estate shuttles are accessible to wheelchair and stroller users.

  Animals (with the exception of service animals) are NOT allowed on shuttles.

  Note: wheeled luggage is NOT permitted in the Biltmore House & Gardens area. Please review our bag policy.

  *Available exclusively for overnight guests at The Inn, Village Hotel, and Cottages on Biltmore Estate®.

  **Biltmore Connect shuttle service is unavailable January 5-March 25, 2026.

• Do you offer transportation between Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) and Biltmore?

  At this time, we do not provide transportation from the airport to the estate. Because Biltmore is best explored by car, we recommend reserving a rental vehicle in advance of your visit from any of the providers at the airport.

• What if I arrive by Taxi, Uber, or Lyft?

  If you plan to arrive by an external transportation service such as taxi, Uber, or Lyft, you will be dropped off at Biltmore House or Antler Hill Village. This is drop-off service only, not transportation between estate locations.

  Biltmore does not offer complimentary estate-wide shuttle transportation. Estate roads do not have sidewalks, and walking between different areas of the estate is not recommended due to travel distances.

  Biltmore Connect shuttle service is available for $15 per person per day (kids 9 and younger are free) and limited complimentary shuttle service. For more information, view Estate Transportation.

Dining and shopping

• Do your restaurants have a dress code?

  For The Dining Room at The Inn, Resort Elegant attire* is requested for dinner: slacks, dress shirt, dress, suit jacket and/or suit. Resort Casual attire is appropriate for breakfast in The Dining Room, as well as for all meals at all other estate restaurants.

  For Library Lounge at The Inn, Resort Casual attire* is recommended; Resort Elegant (slacks, dress shirt, dress, suit jacket and/or suit) is also welcome and encouraged, particularly for evening cocktails and entertainment. If denim is your preference, dark denim is appropriate.

  *Shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, and faded denims are not appropriate nor permitted.

• Will I be able to charge purchases to my room?

  Purchases at any restaurant or shop on the estate may be charged to your room, provided you have established credit upon check-in by presenting your valid, current credit card.

Estate admission and activities

• I’ve already booked my room reservation; how do I book additional estate activities for my stay?

  Please call our Reservations Department toll-free at 866-336-1245 (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. ET and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.). Booking dining reservations and additional estate activities prior to arrival offers better availability.

• If I plan to pick up my admission tickets at check-in, how do I get onto the estate and to my hotel?

  Please inform the security officer at the entrance gate that you are registered at Village Hotel. The officer will verify that you are on the arrival list for the day. Once on the estate, follow the signs to Village Hotel in Antler Hill Village. From the entrance gate, Village Hotel is approximately three and one quarter miles away.
