Discover the fun, friendly sport enjoyed on the estate more than a century ago!

Featuring a playfully decorated course, an engaging maze game, and game completion prizes, this fun-filled activity introduces kids to the basics of a beloved Vanderbilt-era pastime.

After receiving coaching on croquet stance, mallet grip, hitting the ball, and teamwork, kids will unleash their newly acquired skills on our croquet course! Designed to engage clever imaginations (and senses of humor!), the course is sure to put a smile on every face while also leaving participants with a lasting, positive impression of the sport.

Croquet equipment provided for use.

Maximum of 6 participants. Advance reservations required. Recommended maximum age is 12 years. Participants must be accompanied by parent or guardian, and are encouraged to bring water, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. To participate in this activity, guest must have a daytime ticket, a Biltmore Annual Pass, or a stay at one of the estate’s splendid overnight properties.
