2-Hour Fly Fishing Lesson 

Learn the art and skill of fly fishing with our experienced instructors at one of Biltmore Estate’s scenic waterways. Guests begin their lesson on dry land, practicing the fundamentals of casting before heading onto the water to put their developing skills into practice. Fly-fishing instruction includes the basic philosophy behind the sport, basic equipment, essentials of casting, and flies and basic knots.

Limited capacity: 2 participants per instructor 

Minimum age: 12 years 

Guests under 17 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult. 

Sturdy footwear required 

To participate in this activity, you must have an estate admission ticket, a Biltmore Annual Pass, or a stay at one of the estate’s overnight properties.
