Biltmore Dressage Ride-a-Test Schooling Show
Join Biltmore Equestrian Center in hosting a dressage schooling opportunity. Ride the test of your choice under the watchful eye of successful Grand Prix rider Deb Thomas, receive her feedback, then apply it to your performance when you ride the test again shortly afterward.

Night Riding Clinic
This clinic provides participants the opportunity to ride alongside experienced endurance mentors in an effort to master the ins and outs of safely riding at night. Dinner and a trail briefing will be followed by a night ride on the estate’s Orange trail, with the option to ride the full 14 miles or a shorter 7-mile loop.

April 7 & 8, 2023

Endurance 101 Clinic
During this clinic, participants will experience an endurance ride without the pressure of the larger mileage. On Friday evening, Stagg Newman will lead a briefing to prepare participants for an authentic endurance experience. Saturday includes a mock vet check conducted by Ann Stuart, DVM, exactly as you would experience it at a limited distance event. Distances include a 12.5-mile trail with a staggered start, a 40-minute hold, and a second 5.5-mile loop. Stagg and Dr. Ann will be available all weekend to answer questions.

April 15 & 16, 2023

Biltmore Equestrian Hunter-Jumper Series (BEHJS)

Formerly known as the WNC Hunter Schooling Series, the new Biltmore Equestrian Hunter-Jumper Series (BEHJS) includes four shows this year with divisions for all levels of riders and championship prizes at the end of the season. Saturdays feature a Hunter Schooling Show, while Sundays showcase a Jumper Schooling Show. Come for one and stay for all!

This special experience is back: our Biltmore Equestrian Annual Passholders’ exclusive opportunity to ride and enjoy the miles of trails throughout Biltmore’s rarely-open West Range.

May 6 & 7, 2023

Biltmore Challenge Endurance Ride

Participation in this annual endurance event, which highlights the beautiful estate trail system and gives competitors a chance to challenge themselves on varying terrain and distances. Ride distances include 25-mile and 50-mile distances on Day 1, and 30-mile, 55-mile, 75-mile, and 100-mile distances on Day 2. Sanctioned by AERC, SERA, and SEDRA.

Participation in this annual endurance event, which highlights the beautiful estate trail system, supports Hope for Horses, whose vision is “for all horses to live out their lives with dignity in safe and enriching homes.” 25-mile, 50-mile distances. Sanctioned by AERC, SERA, and SEDRA.

French Broad Classic NATRC Competitive Trail Ride

The North American Trail Riding Conference competitions highlight the horse and rider’s ability to navigate trail systems and obstacles typically encountered on trails.
