Centered Riding Instructor Update with Peggy Brown

Peggy Brown, a Level IV Centered Riding and Centered Driving Clinician, guides you through the application of Centered Riding principles and methods to Centered Driving. Peggy is certified with the American Riding Instructor Association (ARIA) as an Instructor Educator and Expert Instructor in multiple disciplines, and serves on ARIA’s Testing Staff. This clinic is open to all currently certified Centered Riding® Instructors. View event details.

Dressage “Ride-a-Test”

Put your skills to the test with the ride of your choosing under the watchful eye of successful Grand Prix rider Deb Thomas! Receive feedback, then apply it to improve on your second ride, which takes place shortly after the first. Space is limited to 20 participants

WNC Combined Schooling Series

Welcome to a brand new show series hosted by Biltmore Equestrian Center and Davis Ranch! Take either a dressage test of your choice or a combined show jumping and dressage test. Series points between the two venues will be added together for some great end-of-year prizes, so be sure to join us at all four events!

Biltmore Equestrian Hunter-Jumper Series (BEHJS)

The BEHJS includes five shows this year with divisions for all levels of riders and championship prizes at the end of the season. Saturdays feature a Hunter Schooling Show, while Sundays showcase a Jumper Schooling Show. Come for one and stay for all! View event details.

May 3 & 4, 2024

Biltmore Challenge Endurance Ride

This annual endurance event, which highlights the beautiful estate trail system, gives competitors an opportunity to challenge themselves on varying terrain and distances. Ride distances include 25-mile and 50-mile distances on Day 1, and 30-mile, 55-mile, 75-mile, and 100-mile distances on Day 2. Sanctioned by AERC, SERA, and SEDRA. View event details.

Biltmore Fall Endurance Ride to Benefit Hope for Horses

Participation in this annual endurance event, which highlights the beautiful estate trail system, supports Hope for Horses, whose vision is “for all horses to live out their lives with dignity in safe and enriching homes.” Event features 25-mile, 50-mile, and Introductory distances, with Adult and Junior rides available.
