Can you provide local driving directions?
Local Driving Directions
Below are recommended routes to Biltmore. Please visit NC Department of Transportation website for real-time information on road conditions or construction delays.

From Interstate 40 East
Take I-40 east to Asheville. Take exit 50 (US Highway 25), then turn left at the traffic light after exiting. Stay in the left lane and follow signs to the Biltmore entrance.From Interstate 40 West
Take I-40 west to Asheville and take exit 50B (US Highway 25 North). After exiting, stay in the left lane and follow signs to the Biltmore entrance.From Interstate 26/US Highway 19/23 East
Take I-26 east to Asheville. In Asheville, take I-240 east to I-40 west. Follow I-40 west to exit 50B (US Highway 25 North). After exiting, stay in the left lane and follow signs to the Biltmore entrance.From Interstate 26 West
Follow I-26 west towards Asheville to exit 31A (Hickory/Knoxville exit). Take I-40 east to exit 50 (US Highway 25), then turn left at the traffic light after exiting. Stay in the left lane and follow signs to the Biltmore entrance.From the Blue Ridge Parkway
Take the US Highway 25 North exit; Biltmore is approximately 4 miles from the parkway. -
Are shuttle services available on Biltmore Estate?
Biltmore does not offer complimentary estate-wide shuttle transportation.
Estate roads do not have sidewalks, and walking between different areas of the estate is not recommended due to travel distances. To enjoy and explore all Biltmore has to offer, we strongly recommend guests arrive in their own vehicle.
Biltmore offers complimentary ADA, Garden, and Lodging Shuttle service from the following locations:
- Round-trip ADA Shuttle service to Biltmore House from the Park & Ride Building (with accessible parking in Lot E)
- Round-trip Garden Shuttle service from Biltmore House to the Conservatory in the Walled Garden from April through December
- Round-trip Lodging Shuttle service* to Biltmore House, Antler Hill Village & Winery, and Amherst at Deerpark® from The Inn and Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate®.
Biltmore Connect shuttle service is available** for $15 per person per day (kids 16 and younger are free) and:
- Provides transportation between Biltmore’s Reception & Ticketing Sales Center, Biltmore House, Antler Hill Village & Winery, and Amherst at Deerpark®
- May be purchased in advance by calling 800-411-3812 or purchased in-person on day of arrival at any Guest Services location
- Is not available for Groups
ALL Biltmore Estate shuttles are accessible to wheelchair and stroller users.
Animals (with the exception of service animals) are NOT allowed on shuttles.
Note: wheeled luggage is NOT permitted in the Biltmore House & Gardens area. Please review our bag policy.
*Available exclusively for overnight guests at The Inn, Village Hotel, and Cottages on Biltmore Estate.
**Biltmore Connect shuttle service is unavailable through April 8, 2026; tickets for April 9–November 5, 2026 visit dates may be purchased starting April 7, 2026.

Do you have ADA shuttles from the parking lots to Biltmore House?
Yes. Park & Ride Lot E offers accessible parking and round-trip ADA shuttle service to Biltmore House departing from the Park & Ride Building.
ALL Biltmore Estate shuttles are accessible to wheelchair and stroller users.
