  • Are there restrictions on who may visit Biltmore?

    No. Buncombe County has lifted travel restrictions and Biltmore is once again welcoming all ticketed guests and Passholders to our 8,000-acre oasis.

  • Will Biltmore House be open?

    Yes, Biltmore House is open. Tickets are required for entry into Biltmore House. Learn More.

    Guided groups of 10 or less will be required with social distancing measures in place. Groups will not occupy the same room. Face coverings are required for all employees and guests.

  • Do I need a Biltmore House reservation?

    Yes. Please reserve your house entry time prior to your visit.

  • Is there a Biltmore House tour available during this time period?

    During phase two reopening, Biltmore has created a new tour experience for guests with guidance of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Daily capacity is very limited and by reservation only.
    Guided groups of 10 or less will be required with social distancing measures in place. Groups will not occupy the same room. Face coverings are required for all employees and guests.

  • Is the audio tour available?

    Biltmore Audio Guides will be available. Units will be offered using touchless distribution and disinfected for every use in accordance with CDC guidelines.

  • Will estate-wide shuttle transportation be available?

    No. Estate shuttles are temporarily suspended. Please be prepared to use a personal vehicle for travel between areas on the estate during this time.

  • What activities are available?

    Our 8,000-acre estate, including Biltmore House, is yours to explore. Bike, hike, or walk along more than 20 miles of trails. Stroll acres of historic gardens. Enjoy a picnic by the Bass Pond, patio dining at Cedric’s®, a variety of take-out dining options, plus wine tastings, shopping, and more.

  • What options will there be for dining?

    Cedric’s® Tavern, Village Social, and The Dining Room at The Inn are open for dine-in, with snacks and take-out options available from The Kitchen Café, The Creamery, and Biltmore Dairy Bar.

  • Are Village Hotel and The Inn on Biltmore Estate open for overnight stays?

    Yes, our two estate hotels are open. Review information regarding Overnight Stays, including our commitment to gracious hospitality and what to expect during your stay.

  • What will be cleaned regularly in guest areas?

    The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing will be increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent-contact, high-touch surfaces including, but not limited to;

    • doorknobs, door handles, door push panels
    • soft and hard furniture
    • elevators and elevator buttons
    • public restrooms
    • stair handrails
    • house phones in the lobby and landing floors
    • courtyard furniture
    • tissue boxes on the casual coffee tables in the lobby and Village Social, small trash can nearby

  • What are you doing to clean your hotel rooms?
    • Daily in-room housekeeping will follow established industry-leading disinfection procedures.
    • We have aligned these stringent disinfection procedures with CDC guidelines, including the use of CDC-compliant cleaning products, increased sanitation frequency, and the disinfection of high-touch guest room items.
    • Additional time will be spent disinfecting such high-touch guest room items as door handles, sink faucets, light switches, thermostats, TV remote controls, and telephones.
