Reserve employees are:

  • Employees whose services are intended for a specific season or for a limited number of hours, with a maximum of 999 hours annually
  • Subject to a review of availability if they’ve not worked for three consecutive months

Flex employees are:

  • Employees who work 1,000–1,559 hours annually
  • Subject to occasional layoff periods, based on business necessity
  • Eligible for certain employee-sponsored benefits after completion of the applicable probationary period

Flex Employee benefits include:

  • Access to the Clinic on Biltmore Estate at no cost
  • Year-round access to the estate gardens and grounds
  • Paid sick/emergency leave (up to 28 hours annually – available upon hire)
  • Paid holidays (up to 80 hours annually – available upon hire)
  • Paid jury duty and funeral leave (available upon hire)
  • Eligibility to participate in company profit-sharing program (based on seniority; between 1-4% of annual salary)
  • Eligibility to contribute to 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match (dependent upon eligibility)

  • Employees who work a minimum of 32 hours per week, 12 months per year on a continuous annualized basis
